3 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus has signed his tender. This is not surprising, as Zaccheaus is currently sitting atop the team's depth chart with a massive opportunity in front of him. Arguably the worst receiving corps in the league, the Falcons need someone to emerge as a reliable option for new quarterback Marcus Mariota. The 24-year-old Zaccheaus caught 31 passes on 53 targets for 406 yards and three touchdowns in 2021. With wide receiver Calvin Ridley suspended for the year, the Falcons are a prime candidate to draft a pass-catcher early in order to take some of the burden off of tight end Kyle Pitts. Even if they do, Zaccheaus could have some value in deeper leagues and can make for an interesting DFS play throughout the season.--Dessy John
