A.J. Green Wants To Improve Chemistry With Kyler Murray
3 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver A.J. Green acknowledged that he wasn't happy with his play last season or his chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray. "There is a lot of room (for growth)," Green said. "For me, it's communicating with him what I see, and what he wants me to do and how he wants me to run this (particular) route. I think last year there was a lacking on my part. I didn't really communicate with him about stuff like that because I didn't want to put a lot of stuff on his plate." Green plans to be a regular attendee at the voluntary offseason workouts, but Murray will not be there. The 33-year-old veteran caught 54 of 92 targets for 848 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games (nine starts) in his first year in the desert, and he could have a bigger role in 2022 with Christian Kirk out of the picture.
