3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom's (shoulder) check-up MRI exam is scheduled for next Monday. "Everything's going real well," manager Buck Showalter said. deGrom was originally shut down for four weeks with a stress reaction in his right scapula, and his MRI exam should show how much progress he's made. The 33-year-old doesn't have a timetable for his return, though, and fantasy managers won't have a better idea of when he might return until he resumes throwing again. The Mets rotation has picked up the slack for the Cy Young winner, but deGrom has the potential to take them to the next level when he's back to full health.
