Buccaneers Could Draft A Running Back
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht said that re-signing running backs Leonard Fournette and Giovani Bernard won't preclude the team from drafting a running back next week. The Buccaneers have done a lot of homework on the position this offseason. On a defensive note, despite signing Logan Ryan and Keanu Neal, Licht said the team could still draft a safety as well. Ke'Shawn Vaughn would be further buried on the RB depth chart if the Bucs select a running back in this year's draft. Depending on who Tampa takes, it could also be bad news for Fournette, who could already be losing valuable pass-game targets to Bernard out of the backfield. Some folks believe the Buccaneers could target Iowa State RB Breece Hall late in the first round.
