3 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Trevor May picked up his first save of the season in Tuesday's Game 2 3-1 win over the Giants in the second game of a doubleheader. May came on to pitch the ninth inning up by two and tossed a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout to end the game. The team's closer, Edwin Diaz, pitched in Game 1, so May was called upon and got the job done. However, fantasy managers should not expect May to see many save opportunities for the Mets. Furthermore, he hasn't pitched all that well, posting a 4.50 ERA with two strikeouts and a walk over four innings pitched this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
