3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons are meeting with Mississippi quarterback Matt Corral on Wednesday, according to a source. The Falcons are also visiting with Virginia tight end Jelani Woods on Wednesday. Wednesday is the last day for top-30 visits before next week's NFL draft, and Corral also visited with the New Orleans Saints this week. Corral has also visited with the Philadelphia Eagles. Some draft pundits have him as the top-ranked signal-caller in this year's class, and Corral had the nation's 17th-most passing yards (3,349) last year while completing 68 percent of his passes. He has an exciting blend of elite arm strength and mobility at the QB position, but it remains to be seen if he'll get an opportunity to start in the NFL in his rookie season.
