3 years agoIowa State linebacker Jake Hummel is visiting with the Chicago Bears on Wednesday after visiting the Minnesota Vikings last week. He has been busy with meetings and workouts since his Pro Day, where his 4.50-second 40-yard dash would have ranked fourth among linebackers. Hummel's 6.85-second three-cone drill would have ranked first, while his 4.28-second 20-yard shuttle would've ranked second. He's projected to be a selection on the last day of the NFL draft, but it's clear that Hummel has some intriguing athleticism heading to the next level. In 13 games last year for Iowa State, Hummel had 39 solo tackles (5.5 for loss), one sack, two interceptions (one for a touchdown), four passes defensed and one fumble recovery.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
