3 years agoThe Atlanta Braves placed third baseman Austin Riley on the paternity list on Wednesday and recalled infielder Travis Demeritte from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Although Riley is hitting just .214 in the early going, he does have two home runs, four RBI and two multi-hit games in his last two contests, so he'll step away in the middle of a mini hot stretch. Riley has been playing third base regularly and hitting in the three-hole behind Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson. Fantasy managers will need to remove the 25-year-old from their daily lineups for the next couple of days. Expect Orlando Arcia to slot in at the hot corner for Atlanta until Riley is back from paternity leave.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
