Gavin Lux Out Again Wednesday But Expected Back Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers second baseman/outfielder Gavin Lux (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves. Lux was scratched from the starting lineup on Tuesday night due to back tightness, but manager Dave Roberts said Lux is feeling better and is expected to be back in the lineup on Friday against the division-rival San Diego Padres. The Dodgers have added utility man Zach McKinstry to their taxi squad, so it's possible that Lux will need a trip to the injured list. The 24-year-old is off to a solid start for LA this year, going 8-for-29 with a homer, five RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases in 10 games played. Chris Taylor is starting again in left field on Wednesday and is batting eighth against Braves right-hander Charlie Morton.
