3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers placed starting pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) on the injured list on Wednesday due to left shoulder discomfort. Infielder and outfielder Zach McKinstry was recalled to take Heaney's place on the active roster. The 30-year-old has yet to allow a run in two starts spanning 10.1 innings for the Dodgers this season. He's logged 16 strikeouts while surrendering just four walks. McKinstry hit .215 with a .263 on-base percentage, seven home runs and a stolen base in 172 plate appearances for Los Angeles last season. He was hitting .404 with a .448 on-base percentage and a home run in 58 plate appearances for the franchise's Triple-A affiliate this season.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
