3 years agoBuffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer was not in attendance when the team began their voluntary offseason workouts this week, and it comes as he's seeking a long-term contract extension. Poyer is coming off an All-Pro season in which he was the only player in the NFL to record five sacks and three interceptions, finishing with 91 tackles and eight tackles for loss. The soon-to-be 31-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract and is set to make a base salary of $5.6 million in 2022, which ranks 10th among safeties. Poyer and his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus, have approached the Bills about a new extension for Poyer, who would like to retire as a Bill. Whether Poyer has an extension before 2022 or not, he'll be a starting defensive back in IDP leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
