Danny Pinter Wants To Play Right Guard
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts offensive lineman Danny Pinter wants to take over the right guard spot this year. "That's what you work for, and that's what you want in this league. I've just got to earn it," Pinter said. The Colts have a hole to fill at right guard after Mark Glowinski and Chris Reed left in free agency. Pinter, a third-year professional who played mostly tackle in college and who was drafted as a backup center, wants the job. The fifth-round pick out of Ball State in 2020 has made only four starts in his career, and he's never started at right guard in his football career. The Colts have raved about Pinter's intelligence and are confident that he can fill the void. On the other side, Matt Pryor is the team's left tackle and will get a long look at the position heading into training camp.
