3 years agoMinnesota Twins' first baseman/outfielder Alex Kirilloff (wrist) will likely head off to a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul early next week. He had a cortisone injection to help with the inflammation in his wrist. The 24-year-old has been limited to five games this season, with only one hit in 17 at-bats before getting his wrist examined again. He will make a few rehab appearances next week and should return to the big leagues shortly after, barring any setbacks. Kirilloff hasn't been able to stay healthy during his major league career, but the former top prospect provides plenty of upside and should continue to be stashed in all league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
