3 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Spencer Howard (finger) is scheduled to start Sunday against the Oakland Athletics. He was initially set to return from the 10-day injured list for Friday's series opener in Oakland but will start Sunday's game with Jon Gray (knee) is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list. Howard was obliterated in his last start against the Toronto Blue Jays, surrendering six runs on six hits, including four homers, and no walks while striking out five in three innings before being placed on the IL with a blister. The right-hander has upside but is mainly a stash in deep-league formats for now.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
