3 years agoThe Chicago Bears are expected to sign veteran free-agent offensive tackle Julie'n Davenport to an undisclosed deal after a successful workout, according to a league source. Davenport was originally a fourth-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2017 out of Bucknell. He spent the first two years of his career in Houston before joining the Miami Dolphins for two seasons. The 27-year-old played in nine games (four starts) for the Indianapolis Colts in 2021. Davenport has a lot of experience playing left tackle, but he'll be fighting for a spot on the active roster in training camp with the Bears.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
