3 years agoThe Detroit Tigers placed outfielder Victor Reyes (quadriceps) on the 10-day injured list on Friday with a left quadriceps strain and recalled outfielder Derek Hill from the minors in a corresponding move. It's not immediately clear how Reyes suffered the injury, but he was off to a solid start this year, hitting .261 with a .711 OPS in 25 plate appearances for Detroit. Hill lost out to Reyes in a spring training battle for the fourth outfielder job and started the regular season on the injured list. The 26-year-old was a first-round pick in 2014 and is known for his speed and outfield defense. Robbie Grossman, Austin Meadows and Akil Baddoo will be the team's starting outfielders on Friday against Colorado Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
