Drew Lock Making Good First Impression
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock is not guaranteed to be the team's starting signal-caller in 2022-23, especially with recent rumors surrounding a potential deal for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. However, head coach Pete Carroll has been impressed by the 25-year-old during Seattle's voluntary offseason workout program, indicating "it's gonna be really exciting to see how he fits in." Lock, who was traded by the Denver Broncos for Russell Wilson back in March, has thrown for 4,740 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions during his first three seasons. Unquestionably, having D.K. Metcalf, assuming he remains on the roster, and Tyler Lockett at his disposal can only help the former Missouri Tiger, so his fantasy outlook is higher than it's ever been, at least as long as he remains on top of the depth chart come September.
