Noah Syndergaard Solid Once Again Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard continued his excellent start to the season Saturday, pitching 5.2 innings with six strikeouts, two walks, and allowed two runs on three hits. He's 2-0 on the season but couldn't secure the victory in the 5-4 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Over 11.1 innings, Syndergaard owns a 2.12 ERA with 11 strikeouts, four walks, and a 0.82 WHIP during his first campaign in Anaheim. The 29-year-old has dealt with numerous injuries during his career and pitched in just two games last year after recovering from Tommy John surgery. Syndergaard's always had great stuff and potential, so as long as he stays on the field, fantasy managers can expect him to keep producing good numbers.
