3 years agoThe San Diego Padres placed first baseman/designated hitter Luke Voit (biceps) on the 10-day injured list on Sunday with a biceps tendon injury and recalled catcher Luis Campusano from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move. Voit's injured list stint will be retroactive to Saturday. The 31-year-old slugger was not in the starting lineup on Saturday and will now miss at least the next 10 days. Campusano will serve as additional catching depth for the Friars behind Austin Nola and Jorge Alfaro. Voit is off to a slow start in his first season in San Diego, as he's still looking for his first home run of the season while going 6-for-42 with five RBI, 10 walks and 17 strikeouts in his first 13 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
