More Teams Interested In Trading Back In First Round
3 years agoWithin the past week as this year's NFL draft has drawn closer, multiple teams in the top half of the draft have inquired with others to try to trade back in the first round, according to sources. So far, the interest in moving back in Thursday's first round has greatly exceeded the interest in moving up. It's not a big surprise, as none of this year's crop of quarterback prospects is a slam dunk in scouts' eyes. Instead of looking to trade up to take one of the top QBs in this year's draft, teams can likely get away with trading back, securing extra picks and still having a shot at the signal-caller that they like most as a developmental prospect.
