3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder AJ Pollock isn't in the lineup on Wednesday for a matchup with the Kansas City Royals and right-handed starter Zack Greinke. Pollock is batting .211 with a .250 on-base percentage in 20 plate appearances for Chicago this season. Instead, Gavin Sheets will get the start in right field and hit third against Greinke. Sheets is hitting .270 with a .308 on-base percentage and a home run in 39 plate appearances during the 2022 season.
