3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton continued to struggle Wednesday, giving up three runs over just 2 1/3 innings pitched. Command was a problem again, as he issued four walks to just one strikeout. Morton is now 1-2 with 11 walks, 15 strikeouts, three home runs allowed and a 7.00 ERA over 18 innings and three starts. Last season was a completely different story, when he went 14-6 with a 3.34 ERA, 3.18 FIP and 1.04 WHIP. However, the two-time All-Star didn't start 2021 on the right foot either, producing a 4.76 ERA over the first month. Fantasy managers should trust that Morton can turn things around. His next start should come on Monday against the New York Mets.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
