Steven Kwan Remains Out Of Lineup
3 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels. Kwan left the game early on Sunday against the New York Yankees with right hamstring tightness and hasn't played since. It remains to be seen if the 24-year-old will need a trip to the injured list. The Guardians have used Josh Naylor, Ernie Clement and Richie Palacios in left field since Kwan suffered his injury, and now Oscar Mercado will get the nod in left field while hitting seventh on Thursday against Angels left-handed pitcher Reid Detmers. Kwan has been red-hot early this season, going 15-for-44 with seven RBI and 10 runs scored in his first 14 games, so the Guardians and fantasy managers are eager for his return to the lineup.
