3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers drafted Georgia linebacker Quay Walker with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday evening. It's a bit surprising that the Packers didn't go receiver with their first pick in the first round, but the top receiving trio of Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave and Jameson Williams were already off the board. Walker is a great athlete at 6-foot-4, 241 pounds, and he ran an impressive 4.52-second 40-yard dash at the combine in February to impress scouts. Because of his speed, the talented linebacker is excellent in coverage. However, don't expect Walker to be in the backfield often rushing the passer, which means he probably won't be very useful in IDP leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
