Tyler Glasnow Playing Catch
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (ankle, elbow) has been playing catch with right-hander Yonny Chirinos at 90 feet, who is also rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, according to manager Kevin Cash. Glasnow had Tommy John surgery in August of last year and also had arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies from his right ankle on March 18. Despite having another surgery, the right-hander said the ankle operation likely won't affect his recovery timetable. Fantasy managers must remain patient with the 28-year-old, as it will be another couple of months before Glasnow is able to return to the Rays starting rotation.
