Luis Robert Back In The Lineup Friday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (groin) is back in the starting lineup on Friday, starting in center field and batting fifth against Los Angeles Angels right-hander Noah Syndergaard. Fantasy managers can rejoice, as Robert has been held out of the team's last six games with a groin injury. The 24-year-old will be facing a hot Syndergaard in his return, but Robert's power/speed upside is hard to ignore. Robert is 9-for-44 (.205) in his first 11 games of the season, but he does have two home runs, three RBI and five stolen bases. Adam Engel and AJ Pollock had been splitting time in center field with Robert out recently, and neither outfielder will be in the starting lineup on Friday with Robert returning.
