Packers Take Christian Watson With Pick No. 34
3 years agoThe Packers filled an offensive need by selecting North Dakota State wide receiver Christian Watson with the 34th pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. With the departures of Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay made a move to provide support for Aaron Rodgers this season. The 22-year-old has been a consistent provider for his former collegiate team over the years, and he finished his senior year with 43 catches for 800 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 15 carries for 114 yards and an additional trip to the end zone. Watson's catching ability could improve, but his versatility makes him a potential asset for managers in the late rounds of fantasy drafts. He also won't face much competition for a spot higher on the depth chart.
