3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt was placed on the COVID-19 list ahead of Friday's game against the Washington Nationals. Belt tested positive for COVID-19, on Friday so he will be sidelined for the next few days. The Giants have seen COVID tear through their roster as they have had several players test positive for the virus. Belt is off to a decent start in 2022, hitting .242 with four homers, 10 runs, and nine RBI over 66 at-bats. Darin Ruf will draw the start at first base in place of Belt on Friday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
