Mitch Haniger Leaves Friday's Game With Injury
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger left Friday's game with a high ankle sprain. Haniger hurt himself on a swing during the first inning. He wound up picking up a single on that at-bat but was removed by pinch-runner Abraham Toro. After just getting activated from the COVID list earlier in the day, Haniger could miss several more days with a trip to the injured list also a possibility thanks to the ankle issue. Expect the Mariners to provide updates on his ankle after the game on Friday. Haniger is hitting .200 with three homers, three runs, and seven RBI over 36 at-bats.
