Bucs Take Cade Otton To Begin Fourth Round
3 years agoThe Buccaneers took Washington tight end Cade Otton to kick off the third day of the 2022 NFL Draft on Saturday. The 23-year-old, selected with the 106th overall pick, played four seasons with the Huskies, where he finished with 1,026 yards and nine touchdowns off 91 catches. He certainly doesn't lack size at 6'5'', 250 pounds, although he needs to improve his blocking ability. Nonetheless, with O.J. Howard now in Buffalo, and Rob Gronkowski uncertain to return, Otton has a chance at solidifying himself as the No. 2 option on the depth chart behind Cameron Brate. However, if Brate succumbs to injury in 2022-23, he may gain interest from fantasy managers as a viable streaming option. Playing alongside Tom Brady also won't hurt his development.
