3 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon took an 0-for-3 against the Chicago White Sox during Saturday's 4-0 loss, dropping his batting average to .221 in 19 games. The veteran also has two home runs, seven runs, eight RBI, and two stolen bases. After an injury-riddled 2021 in which Rendon slashed .240/.329/.382, it seems he still has yet to rediscover the form that made him a top 11 MVP finalist four times. That player may never return, but Rendon can still provide a decent batting average and some power in the middle of the Angels lineup at a weak third base position.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
