Nathan Eovaldi Dominates In No Decision Saturday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi was solid on the mound once again against the Baltimore Orioles Saturday evening. He shut them out for seven innings but didn't get much support from his offense and didn't factor into the decision of the 2-1 loss. Across the seven innings, Eovaldi had eight strikeouts, didn't walk a battler, and allowed just three hits. The right-hander has continued the success he had in 2021, posting a 2.51 ERA with 32 strikeouts and a 0.94 WHIP over 28.2 innings pitched. Eovaldi has been an underrated hurler in fantasy baseball the past few seasons and can provide value in all five categories. He'll look to keep the momentum going in his next start, that should come against the Chicago White Sox.
