3 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels optioned left-hander Jose Suarez to the minors on Sunday and recalled left-hander Kenny Rosenberg in a corresponding move. Suarez took the loss on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox after allowing four earned runs on eight hits while striking out four and walking two in four innings. Five of the hits he allowed were of the extra-base variety. The 24-year-old just hasn't been effective this year and hadn't gone more than 4 1/3 innings in any of his four starts for the Angels this year, posting a 6.35 ERA, a 1.76 WHIP and 15 strikeouts to 11 walks in 17 innings.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
