3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (illness) said he's feeling better on Sunday and will throw a bullpen session, but he's uncertain when he'll make his next start after being scratched from his scheduled start on Friday against the Chicago White Sox due to a non-COVID-19-related illness. Patrick Sandoval is slated to pitch on Monday against the Boston Red Sox and Shohei Ohtani is scheduled for Tuesday, but the Angels could move Ohtani back a day and give Syndergaard the start on Tuesday. Thor has been great in his first year in LA through three starts, allowing only four earned runs on 10 hits while walking four and striking out 11 in 17 innings pitched. Boston would represent a tough matchup, but Syndergaard has been a must-start so far in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
