3 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said that outfielder Andrew Vaughn's hand is still a little sore, but he's been swinging a bat and could pinch hit in the series finale on Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels. The White Sox are hoping Vaughn can return to the lineup on Monday. The 24-year-old was hit by a pitch on his right hand on Friday, and although X-rays came back negative, he will miss the final two games of the series. AJ Pollock is in left field again on Sunday and is hitting sixth against Angels right-hander Michael Lorenzen. Gavin Sheets is in right field and is batting fifth. Vaughn is a nice source of power when healthy, and he's gone 15-for-53 with four home runs and 12 RBI in his first 16 games this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
