3 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (groin) said that he plans on playing on Monday. Ohtani left Sunday's game against the Chicago White Sox in the top of the ninth inning with right groin tightness, but it doesn't sound like a serious issue. The Angels won't take any drastic measures, though, so fantasy managers need to check back later to see if Ohtani is in the lineup as the designated hitter. The 27-year-old two-way superstar is hitting only .228 in the first 22 games of the season, but he does have four home runs, 12 RBI, a league-leading 17 runs scored and four stolen bases in 99 plate appearances. If Ohtani is in the lineup on Monday, he needs to be in all starting fantasy lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
