Trey Mancini Out Again Monday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini (ribs) is out of the starting lineup again on Monday against the Minnesota Twins. It will be the third straight game out of the lineup for Mancini, who has been dealing with soreness in his ribs. Manager Brandon Hyde said that the 30-year-old was available off the bench on Sunday, so fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. Anthony Santander will start in right field again on Monday against Twins right-hander Chris Paddack while hitting third in the lineup. Tyler Nevin is serving as the designated hitter and is batting fifth on Monday. Mancini has 17 hits in his first 76 at-bats on the season, including four doubles, one home run and eight RBI for a .224 average. There's a good chance he'll be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday.
