DeAndre Hopkins Suspended Six Games For PEDs
3 years agoArizona Cardinals Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is being suspended six games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy, according to league sources. Ouch. It's a big blow to the Cardinals and to Hopkins' fantasy value for the 2022 season. It'll also be bad news for quarterback Kyler Murray as he looks to get off to a good start following his embarrassing performance in last year's playoffs. With Nuk out for the first six games, barring an appeal, newly acquired wideout Marquise Brown, veteran A.J. Green and Rondale Moore will be asked to step up, as well as tight end Zach Ertz. Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowler, played in only 10 games last year due to injuries and finished with a career-low 572 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 42 receptions.
