3 years agoToronto Blue Jays infielder Cavan Biggio cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols and was able to start baseball activities on Monday. Biggio has been sidelined with the virus since April 25 and could possibly embark on a rehab assignment before playing for the big league club. The 27-year-old is off to a slow start in 2022, hitting just .043 with two runs across 23 at-bats. Santiago Espinal has performed well filling in at second base and might not cede the starting job back to Biggio, even when the latter is ready to rejoin the Blue Jays.--Matt T - RotoBaller
