3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Ian Kennedy picked up his second save of the season in Monday's 5-4 win over the Marlins. The veteran entered to pitch the ninth inning up a run. He got the first out on a flyout, allowed a single, got another flyout, allowed a walk, and got the final out on a pop-out. Kennedy has earned both of his saves since Mark Melancon was placed on the COVID-19 injured list last Friday. Melancon will return to the closer's role once he returns, and Kennedy hasn't pitched all that well this season, posting a 4.09 ERA with eight strikeouts and seven walks over 11 innings pitched. All of this limits Kennedy's fantasy value, even in deeper roto leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
