Amed Rosario Could Return Tuesday
3 years agoCleveland Guardians shortstop Amed Rosario (wrist) has been battling some left wrist tightness on and off since the start of spring training, and he was held out of the lineup for a third straight game on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics as a result. With the team having an off day on Monday, it's possible that Rosario could be back in the starting lineup for the series opener against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. If the 26-year-old isn't able to return this week, a trip to the injured list will likely be in store. Rosario is still looking for his first home run of the season and is off to a slow start with a .211 batting average, five RBI, nine runs scored and one stolen base in his first 19 games of the season.
