3 years agoMiami Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera (biceps) will make a start for Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday. Cabrera began the season in the minors in order to rehab his biceps injury, and he's made only one start for Low-A Jupiter, tossing four shutout innings with three walks and seven strikeouts. The 24-year-old right-hander is the team's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline. He made his first seven big-league starts for the Fish last year and posted a 5.81 ERA, a 1.63 WHIP, 19 walks and 28 strikeouts over 26 1/3 innings. Cabrera has premium stuff, but he'll need to improve his control and command in order to have success the next time he's on a major league mound. Once healthy, he should be the next man up in Miami when a spot opens up in the rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
