Kenneth Walker III Could Have A Role This Year
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III should see a lot of snaps in training camp and the preseason, and there's a chance that he climbs up the RB depth chart by the start of the regular season, depending on how he looks. Because of how volatile running back health can be, it's likely that Walker starts multiple games in his rookie season. Seattle's decision to take Walker in the second round suggests they're not confident that Chris Carson (neck) will be ready in 2022. The Seahawks also have Rashaad Penny, but he also has an extensive injury history and has been on the sidelines more often than not. Walker broke out at Michigan State last year, gaining 1,636 yards and scoring 18 touchdowns for the Spartans.
