3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks declined the fifth-year option for defensive end L.J. Collier, according to a source. This move was widely expected after Collier fell down the depth chart last season, as his option would have been worth $11.5 million. The 26-year-old pass-rusher played in only 10 games last year and finished with eight tackles (three solo), five QB hits and a pass defensed for the Seahawks. The former 29th overall pick in 2019 out of TCU has just 33 tackles (21 solo), five tackles for loss, 12 QB hits, three sacks and three passes defensed in 37 games (16 starts) in his three NFL seasons in Seattle.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
