Tommy Edman Back In Tuesday's Lineup
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Tommy Edman (hip) is back at second base and is leading off on Tuesday against Kansas City Royals right-hander Brad Keller. Edman experienced left hip flexor soreness in the game on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks and was held out of the game on Monday as a result. The 26-year-old will wind up missing just one game, and fantasy managers should be looking to get him back into their lineups. He has benefitted from Dylan Carlson's struggles atop the batting order and is more attractive in all fantasy leagues hitting at the top of the Cardinals lineup. Edman is 22-for-72 with three home runs, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored and five RBI in his first 21 games of the season.
