Alek Manoah Earns Another Quality Start Tuesday
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah continued his stellar start to the season in Tuesday's 9-1 loss to the Yankees. Manoah pitched 6 innings, allowing one run on three hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with seven strikeouts. However, the bullpen would later implode. The 24-year-old has turned in quality starts for each of his first five starts and owns a stellar 1.45 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 31 IP. He will look to keep things going in his next start at the Guardians.
