3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels. Vazquez will get the day off for the day game in the series finale against the Angels. The 31-year-old backstop went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's loss to LA to drop his season average to .208 with one home run, four RBI and four runs scored in his first 17 games of the season. Kevin Plawecki will do the catching on Thursday and is hitting ninth in the batting order against Angels right-hander Shohei Ohtani. Plawecki has just four singles and one RBI in 26 plate appearances this year. He should be avoided in DFS, especially against Ohtani.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
