3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh had himself a big day at the plate in Thursday's 8-0 blowout win against the Boston Red Sox. He went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and four RBI. The 28-year-old is now slashing .247/.302/.416 with four home runs, 18 RBI, 10 runs, and no stolen bases. Walsh carries a healthy amount of power but is pretty limited otherwise, with little speed and a lackluster batting average. Additionally, fantasy managers should be cautious starting him against left-handers. This year, Walsh's OPS against southpaws is just .668, and in 2021, he batted .170 with a .565 OPS.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
