Nick Castellanos Exits Thursday's Game Early
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos (wrist, forearm) exited Thursday's game against the New York Mets after getting hit by a pitch in the wrist/forearm area. The 30-year-old went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run before leaving. He was examined by the trainers and removed from Thursday's game for precautionary reasons. The severity of Castellanos's injury is unknown, and the 30-year-old is considered day-to-day. Roman Quinn replaced Castellanos in Thursday's contest and would see an uptick in playing time if the Phillies outfielder misses any time. Stay tuned for further updates.
