Bears Believe In Justin Fields
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears are fully committed to second-year quarterback Justin Fields. "We're all in on Justin [Fields]. I believe in Justin, the staff believes in Justin," general manager Ryan Poles said. The former first-round pick doesn't have many weapons in the passing game, even after the Bears took receiver Velus Jones Jr. in the third round of the draft. Fields has plenty of dual-threat ability at QB, but he could struggle in his second NFL season with Darnell Mooney and Byron Pringle as his top receiving targets. For his rushing ability alone, Fields is worth taking as a QB2 with upside, but don't be surprised if he has another up-and-down season as the Bears continue to rebuild from the Matt Nagy era.
